PAYPAL AND PAYMENTS
All payments are processed via PayPal, which is a secure third-party payment gateway. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to shop with us. PayPal offers the option to put a payment through via a credit or debit card as well as via a PayPal account. If you have any questions about this, please contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Most UK parcels are sent Signed For or Special Delivery. We are trying to keep postage costs as low as possible, and so our base rate is still just £4.50.
General Shipping Costs:
- UK Orders up to £50 — From £4.50 (signature required on delivery)
- UK Orders over £50 — From £9.50 (signature required on delivery)
- International postage — From £15
Please note that we take international orders on a case by case basis, and may need to contact you for additional shipping if your order will cost significantly more than our normal rate to send. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that our international customers contact us before ordering to inquire about postage, especially if placing a high value or multi-item order.
Our goods are sent out in plain post bags or recycled boxes. There is no mention of Edgeplay or the nature of the goods on the outer package. We enclose a dispatch note containing details of the order which is affixed to the package in a ‘documents enclosed’ sticker, folded in such a way that only the customer address is visible. If you would prefer a simple address label and for the dispatch note to be enclosed inside the package, please note this when you place an order.
Please note – in the case of orders being dispatched outside of the EU, we have a legal requirement to accurately describe the contents on the customs label. We will not falsify the contents or their value, but we will be as discreet as possible. Goods will NOT be described as sex toys or BDSM items.
Edgeplay aims to dispatch your order within 3 working days where we have the items in stock. However, we work away doing fetish markets and events so sometimes this may be delayed. If your order will be significantly delayed we will contact you via the e-mail address or phone number you supply at checkout. If you have not received your order within 2 weeks please contact us to inquire about your order.
Please note that some of our items have lengthier dispatch times, these will be noted on the product descriptions.
We do not part-dispatch orders, other than by specific arrangement. If part of your order is out of stock or has a longer dispatch, we will retain your order until we have everything ready and then send it out. If the delay is our fault, we may opt to part dispatch and cover the additional postage costs. If you would like to receive part of your order in advance (for example in the case of orders that contain items where a longer dispatch is noted in the description) then we will ask you to cover the extra postage. We consider 10-14 days a reasonable time frame to allow for new stock to arrive, so we ask that if you need your items in a rush you contact us first and pay any additional postage costs.
CUSTOMS AND IMPORT DUTY
The prices we charge cover the cost of the goods and the prices charged by the postal provider for the delivery service. Any additional fees, such as import tax and admin charges from the postal provider, are the responsibility of the customer. We do not quote these fees or charge an additional to cover them. Import fees vary by country so we advise that if you are ordering from outside of the EU, you familiarise yourself with your country’s customs and import laws.
If you buy products from us that are subsequently seized and/or destroyed at the point of import, due to being illegal to import into your country, we are not liable to provide a refund or re-ship the goods.
Goods and their value will be declared on the appropriate customs paperwork. We will be discreet where possible (e.g. simply putting ‘medical supplies’ for our med-fet items) but we will give as much information as we feel is necessary.
